An unannounced project being developed by RiffRaff Games in Unreal Engine 5. A satirical, third-person, ‘millennial misadventure’ RPG.

Role and Responsibilities

Project Lead

August 2022 - Present
  • Lead the design and creative direction of the project.
  • Coordinate with department leads and producer to plan and structure production milestones.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation for use by the team and external partners.
  • Create and conduct pitch presentations for external publishers, discussing project funding and creating all supporting documentation.
  • Conduct design reviews with junior designers, with a focus on up-skilling and improving communication skills.
  • Prototype and develop core gameplay systems.
  • Lead regular project updates between departments, facilitating feedback and contributions from other team members.

Experienced Programmer & Tech Artist

November 2019 - August 2022
  • Design and develop core gameplay systems and structures.
  • Work with designers to develop tools to assist in the creation of gameplay content.
  • Work with artists to develop tools, shaders and VFX to achieve desired aesthetic.
  • Create and maintain documentation for usage of gameplay systems and tools.
  • Extend Unreal Engine 4/5 editor with custom-fit tooling for our development needs.
  • Profile and optimize performance to achieve desired metrics.
